Comet Flail Mower

 

With the demand increasing for compact tractors, Port Agric have introduced a three-model range of flail mowers to suit tractors up to 55hp.

The lightweight COMET comes in three widths 1.06m, 1.32m and 1.58m and is capable of working on tractors up to 30hp with a 540 power take off system. These single skin machines are suitable for customers with smaller compact tractors. They are capable of taking on taller grass with a mixture of light bramble. These come standard with free wheel in the gearbox and are reversible for use with the smaller reversible Alpine tractors. These operate through a 2 belt drive-line with "Y" flail blades as standard and are capable of cutting 2cm diameter material.
